Balloon Monkeys

Fight your Friends in our local two-player game -- Bash Balloons and Ascend to the Finish!

Get to your door first -- once a player progresses through their door, Defense and Offense roles are assigned
The Offensive balloon must get to their door before Defense stops them!

Roles are Reversed when the offensive balloon pops: the level you were in is inverted. Now, the defensive balloon takes the offense, and the offensive balloon plays defense...

Whoever can reach their last door WINS!

Mini Mart's Submission for the 2023 GMTK GameJam

Balloon Monkeys (might!) also be a role reversal on the classic rivalry between monkeys and balloons.
